Abstract

The machine comprises a metal or plastic casing (1) containing an electric motor (2) in its upper part. This drives a set of cylindrical brushes (4) by means of a gear train (3), the brushes being positioned vertically in pairs side by side with their bristles touching. The plate is placed vertically in a sliding drawer which is pushed into the machine, between the pairs of brushes. The first pair has jets of water and detergent playing on them to remove the food particles, the second pair has rinsing jets to provide final cleaning. Plates and dishes are dealt with one at a time.
