Abstract

Lettering machine for direct printing of letters on packaging cases. The machine includes a probe which localises the package case on which the lettering will be printed with the probe movable in relation to the case in order to locate one side and fitted with a signal indicator for a side which has been located. A printing head holder is in contact with the case during the printing operation, which contains an installation to apply ink to form the letters. The machine includes an installation which moves the probe and the printing head in a pre-determined scheme relative to the packing case, to permit the lettering process by the printing head with an electronic control for movements of the printing head during printing.
