Abstract
A rectifier and screen holder (REF) receives the vibrating signal (VO) and supplies a d.c. signal (Vf). A switching and amplifier stage (DET) receives the d.c. signal at one input and a reference signal at another input and produces an output signal (Vd) with two levels. A feedback (RR) receives the output signal and applies a feedback signal (Vr) to the control output of the oscillator (OSC). These circuit parts are so arranged that, in the absence of a metal part at the resonant circuit (CO), the output signal assumes the first level and, in the presence of a metal part, assumes the second level.
