Abstract
The magnetic shielding panel, e.G. the linear dimensions of which are more than 1 metre, has the shielding provided by at least two sets of partial layers, positioned one across the other, and made by using bands of magnetic material which are as long as possible, and which have a high permeability. Preferably the latter magnetic material is a nickel-iron alloy containing 70-82 per cent by weight of nickel, 0-11 per cent by weight of copper, 0-6 per cent by weight of molybdenum, 0-6 per cent by weight of chrome, with the remainder being iron, the proportion of iron being at least 9 per cent by weight.
