Abstract

The switch or measuring device (1) is placed in a recessed location 2) formed in a wall (3). A rim (4) or collar is attached round the edge of the location by welding. The rim is slotted (7) and perforated at two diametrically opposite positions. A retaining spring (9) is located in these openings (8, 10). The spring has two parts which enter into grooves (13) on top of the measuring device. The shape and deformation of the spring is such that it presses the measuring device into place and is retained in the slots and perforations.
