Abstract
The sole is particularly for the correction of internal foot rotation in small children and has a wedge or abductor support (1) on the inner side, so positioned as to be normally under the head of the first metatarsal bone (4). It can also have a supinator heel wedge (6) on the inside, of lower height than the first wedge. The wedges can be of elastic material, such as foam, and the first one can be under the heads of the first and second metarsal bones, on the axis of the first one. Its height can decrease towards the inner edfe of the sole, being virtually nil on the axis of the second metatarsal bone.
