Abstract

In a basic system the passage of a lift between floors causes contacts to move. Current in the coil of a third relay is provided from contacts of a second relay along two paths. Contacts of a fourth relay actuated by a pulse generator on the lift are enclosed when in motion. A marker plate interrups the generator and opens a first relay current continuing through the third relay by a further path. The system ensures continued supply to selector without direct connection, eliminates abnormal repetition of marker signal. Many other refinements using diodes described.
