Abstract

The cutter plate (1) is secured to the support (2) with a lateral holder segment (4) containing a positioning dowel (3). This extends at right angles from the segment face so as to fit in a hole (8) in the plate. A clamping flange (9) is held in place by a stud (13) screwing into the support, and bears against a face on the latter (11) and one on the plate. Thus when the stud is tightened down the flange forces the plate, with the aid of the segment, against the dowel. The face on the support can be inclined to the axis of the stud, which can engage in tapped holes in support and flange. A support plate can be provided between the support and the cutter plate.
