Abstract
The reference instrument is made up of rotable discs. The system can make reference to all celestial objects and fixed as well as moving points on the whole of the celestial sphere for all instants and places of observation. From this fundamental astronomical relationships may be used easily for astrological study. The ascendant point and the points of the other houses of the Zodiac are indicated on the edge of disc (B1). For planets and asteroids, an inclined disc is fixed on the axis supporting two discs (A2, A3) which are relatively movable about a horizontal axis. A pointer is pivoted about the centre of one disc (A3). The horizontal disc (B1) is marked with graduations corresponding to days of the year.
