Abstract

Equipment for automatic folding of articles from flexible material especially textile, paper and plastic articles includes a first and a second belt conveyor system so arranged that the first belt conveying system moves the received article on the second conveying system. Both systems are started, and the drive of the second conveying system (3, 4) reversed, by a control device when the folded part of the article is positioned between the first and the second conveying systems. The systems consists of two endless belt conveyors so positioned that the article is slightly held between the two belt conveyors.
