Abstract

Herbidicidal compsns. comprise aq. suspns. contg. (a) 100-700 (pref. 100-600, esp. 300-600) g/l of atrazine (I), i.e. 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-1,3,5-triazine; (b) a Xanthomonas hydrophilic colloid (XHC); and (c) one or more anionic surfactants. The compsns. can be used as selective herbicides at an application rate of 0.5-8 (pref. 1-4) kg (I)/ha, or as total herbicides at a rate of >=10 kg (I)/ha. The suspensions are easy to prepare and have good storage stability, even when stored in fluctuating temp. conditions.
