Abstract

Concentration below the boiling point and final storage of liq. radioactive wastes, by evaporating the waste at the final storage site and carrying out the concentration with a gas-phase transport medium at 0.5-1.5 atmos. which produces the heat and steam. In partic. steam is blown into the transport medium flowing in closed circuit and is condensed jointly with the steam produced. Provides a simpler and thermally more efficient process of treatment and storage of radioactive atomic waste, in which the storage space required is smaller than for the known methods.
