Abstract

An adaptor block by means of which a differential pressure converter may be attached to e.g. a vessel, to monitor a fluid flow, has an externally threaded boss (16) for attaching to a flange or plate on the vessel, forming one end of a conical portion (12), the other end being a flange onto the face (50) of which the measuring cell can be bolted, switch bolt holes being provided through the flange. Across this face (50) is a ridge (58) to locate and support the lower portion (56) of the cell. a hole (28) can be bored through, end to end, and slopes downwards to supply the lower portion, and further branched blind holes (34, 36) locates at the top, for the upper portion the vertical arm being tapped for insertion of a suitable branch tube (38).
