Abstract

The lock embodies a tapered plate pinned to one door leaf edge so as to rotated in the leaf's major plane, with the opposed end slotted so as to engage the bolt which projects normally from the opposed leaf edge, the slot radiation from a circular recess in the plate's surface which serves to receive a cylindrical chock piece or locking organ. The latter slides co-axially onto the bolt and engages the walls of the recess to effect the locking together of the two leaves. The bolt is circumferentially grooved.
