Abstract

The frame is formed from four bent metal elements, with a cross sectional profile in the form of an inverted U, the end of the inner arm of the U bent inwards at right angles, to form a short lip (4). The frame is secured to the wall by screws, which fit through holes (8) in a number of spaced mounting brackets (7) fitted to the two side elements of the frame. The mounting brackets (7) are also made from bent metal and have an L-shaped cross-sectional profile, with the vertical limb (6) bent inwards to form a lip (9) at the top. The mounting brackets (7) and the frame elements are held together by spring clips (10) bent so as to abut the bottom lip (4) of the frame elements and the top lip (9) of the brackets.
