Abstract

The trailer is coupled with the tractor by a fixing arrangement which is so constructed that it creates a relative swivelling of the tractor and trailer. A first reference point in the tractor lies in front of the fixing arrangement and a second reference point in the trailer lies behind the fixing arrangement. This has translatory devices, which relate to the swivelling within an angular range and so effect a relative movement between the tractor and trailer. The two reference points have a constant separating distance. The fixing arrangement can create a limited vertical swivel motion between tractor and trailer, and the translatory devices are passive.
