Abstract
The shuttering element comprises pairs of lengthwise steel channels mounted back to back on pairs of transverse channels and secured by bolts turned by levers which allow the position of the lengthwise channels to be altered in relation to the back flange of the transverse channels. The lengthwise channels are fastened together in pairs at various places by means of steel plates. The lengthwise channels are a little shorter than angle-irons which run parallel to them and are welded to the ends of the transferse channels. The face of the shuttering is supported on the lengthwise channels and edge angles. Operation of the bolts (3) supporting the lengthwise channels enables the position and curvature of the shutter face to be varied.
