Polychlorobenzyl cyclopropanecarboxylates of formula (I) (where n is 2, 3 or 4; R is Cl or -OMef R1 and R2 singly or alkyl; or R1 + R2 is a 3-6C saturated divalent hydrocarbon gp) are insecticides Specif. claimed are 2,3,4,5,6-pentachlorobenzyl 3,3-dimethyl-2-isopropylidenemethyl-cyclopropanecarboxylate and 8 other 2,3,4,5,6-pentachlorobenzyl esters; and 11 other esters of 3,3-dimethyl-2-isopropylidenemethyl-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid.
