Abstract

A method of attaching a covering sheet to a surface, for building work etc., inside or out, to cover a joint or to trap a layer of insulating air, without the method of retaining the sheet being visible, employs a member (3) which may be located spaced from a corner, secured by adhesive (5) to the horizontal surface (1) or by other means, with a sloping edge (9) which traps an L shaped flanged member (2) in the corner. The flanged member is slid away, and the sheet (6) folded around it, and sealed with adhesive. The L shaped member can then be replaced with the sheet around it replacement being assisted by the flexibility of an additional sloping arm (8) between the longer arms of the L shaped member.
