Abstract

The microscope contains a dimension detector (13) to pick up a displacing movement by the object (2) at right angles to the optical axis of the microscope. Means are provided to measure time shifts between the photoelectric signals of the receiver system (10, 11) and the signals from the dimension detector. There are also means (14) for decoding these time shifts in respect of the optical structure of the object. There can also be a facility for freeing the electrical output signals of the receiver system from their components of equal phase. A grid (6) can modulate the luminous fluxes supplied to the receiver system.
