Abstract

The display device comprises an information input unit, a central processing unit for the logic signals, a representation unit for the composed image elements, a power supply unit, a number of thyristor switches and switches for the selection of the thyristor image element switches according to the horizontal or vertical co-ordinate of the representation unit. The thyristors associated with the image elements are connected to the positive pole of the power supply via loads on the side of the anode and directly or indirectly to the negative pole of the power supply on the side of the cathode.
