Abstract

The refrigerator operates both when the vehicle is travelling and when it is stationary, even in ambient temperatures of 40 deg.C or more. It has a duplicated system of connections, one served from the vehicle battery when travelling, and the other from a housing containing conversion equipment from 220 volts to 12 volts of direct current, and recharging the battery at the same time. The refrigerator also has double glass fibre insulation. At the top there can be a ventilator unit with a rised rim 1 cm high, preventing any water penetrating into the refrigerator unit.
