Abstract

The transparent plastic package has two shells (1, 2) pressed together, bringing their extended edges (3, 4) into contact. The shells are shaped (6, 7) so that they can be elastically fitted together. They are hinged together at one side (5). A cardboard frame made froma folded sheet (9, 10) encloses the edges (3, 4). These two sheets are fixed together (12) through holes (11) in the extended edges of the shells. The frame must therefore be broken before the package can be opened. The cardboard can be joined in a number of ways, in particular by using a plastic coating softened by heat.
