Abstract

The pallet is made of synthetic material and has rows of locations (21, 31) of circular cross-section which open (2, 3) on to the faces of the pallet. The position of the centres of the locations and the dimensions are such that the outermost parts of the objects lie in the plane of the surface of the pallet. The remaining parts (111, 121) of the surface are flat and are used for carrying the weight of the assembly. The corners of the pallet are chamfered (41, 42), the free ends (411, 421) remaining to the retain the objects. The locations hold the objects beyond their mid-point.
