Abstract

In an arrangement for producing dry, compressed air, which includes a compressed air source feeding a receiver through an adsorption fitter and a means for recirculating dry compressed air back through the filter for regeneration when the compressed air source is isolated, the means for recirculating the air consists of a valve actuated in response to the humidity of the air in the receiver. The humidity of the compressed air is kept within narrow limits despite variations in atmospheric humidity and rate of usage.
