Abstract
The transducer is used for detection, measurement and recording. IT has four simultaneously variable capacitors connected as a bridge circuit and has two fixed output capacitors. The capacitors are made-up of fixed armatures (1a, 5a, 2a, 6a, 1'a), which are cylindrical and mounted in-line on an insulating fixed support (7), containing two moving armatures (3a, 4a) insulated from each other and fixed on a shaft (8) which can slide in two bearings (10). The whole is mounted in a protecting case (10). For an axial displacement of the shaft (8) the capacitances between the moving armatures (3a, 4a) and the end and middle armatures (1a, 5a, 1'a) vary according to the displacement but the capacitances between the moving armatures and the intermediate armatures (5a, 6a) remain constant.
