Abstract

A wheeled frame which can be placed inside the tank itself has units which can be easily lifted from the frame for easy handling. The frame (1) has an upper portion (4) to hold a vessel (5) into which the thick deposit scraped from the oil tank is deposited, with an outlet (6) underneath so that it can be delivered into a container (8) underneath which has lines (14, 15) for pumping water and dissolving agent inside it. Alongside the upper vessel, is a unit with a drive motor (11) and a mixer paddle (9) held at an angle inside the lower container. When the mixture has been stirred until a suitable consistency has been obtained, the mixture is discharged through a flexible pipe (16) at the bottom.
