Abstract
The heating element is inserted into the panel at a certain distance from the cladding so as to give mechanical protection. A low-tension current gives off rays of heat. The panel may contain lengthwise holes which provide a form of convection. the panel, alternatively, may be of cellular structure. Again, the panel may consist of cladding which is joined to an insulating layer. A supply electrode and a connection for the panel may be included. An electric resistance in the form of a film, skin, mesh or strip may be incorporated. Air-inlet holes may be positioned in the bottom, and air-outlet holes at the top.
