Abstract

The apparatus unwinds a thin sheet of material from a roll and spreads the sheet without folds on to a table surface. It is used for foils for print stereo production. The table surface contains a guide installation consisting of guide rollers with at least two rollers making contact with each side of the material track edges. Each guide roller pair consists of cylindrical rollers with rotating bearings above each other with a slot positioned at about the height of the track surface and the rollers of each pair are pressed against each other. The rollers are fitted with their axes at an acute angle to the longitudinal centre axis of the track.
