Abstract

A portable container for keeping food efficiently refrigerated for up to 48 hours, by using ice or solid carbon dioxide, is divided up into larger and smaller compartments for different types and cuts of meat, and for vegetables and a flavouring material respectively, giving good protection, and made of e.g. expanded polyester, fitted with a hollow cover, so that the cooling flow can travel in an uninterrupted manner between the compartments and the cold source. The device is clean and light, and replaces the type of container which uses inserts which may be enclosed by material which is easily torn or damaged.
