Abstract

Metal troughs (5) with a flat base, included converging sides (7) and outwards rolled top edges (8) are bolted to the greenhouse frame. The flexible, relatively soft sheeting (c) is laid on the troughs, pushed into them, and held there by 'zig-zag' springs (4). For harder materials a linear similar in section to, but smaller than, the trough is positioned between the sheeting and the spring. This liner is easily deformed due to it having a flexible base, thus allowing the liner to be press fitted into the trough, the hard sides of the liner pressing the sheeting against the sides of the trough.
