Abstract

Proposed is a ship equipped with equipment for unloading bulk material from a hold of the ship, the unloading equipment comprising at least one conveyor having a horizontal conveyor section running below the hold, means for delivering material from the hold to the horizontal conveyor section, and an ascending conveyor section for raising material from the horizontal conveyor section to a position from which it is unloaded, wherein at least one of the conveyor sections comprises a belt of box-like cross-section.
