Abstract

The support has three feet, each comprising a band made from a resilient material, e.g. rubber or plastics and are angled at 120 degrees to each other, and connected together at the centre. Each band has a series of holes punched in it throughout its length, along the longitudinal centre line, and a stop element is provided at the outer end of each band. A base element slides along each band and has a socket into which a corresponding tripod leg can be fitted, and which can be secured at a required distance from the centre point, via the holes in the band, and a pin depending from the base element.
