Abstract

Sinkable building construction for erecting in a soil layer of a waterway bed, with an impermeable casing device on its base which can penetrate the soil layer and comprises one or more casing regions bound from above by the construction base and with a conduit device to remove water from these regions. The casing device includes a large section of the base face of the construction and a pipe line has means to seal it to prevent the free return of water into the casing region through the pipe line. A continuous casing extending around the periphery of the base belongs to the casing device.
