Abstract

A printing roller is produced by winding a number of layers of a continuous colour-absorbent ink-penetrable fabric on to a centre under a predetermined tension and preventing damage to the edges or release of the tension. The roller is suitable for printing, calculating machines, typewriters etc. which use a liquid ink.
