Abstract

The top edges of the two parallel side walls are curved over outwards to form grooves for a perforated lid to glide along. A feed-trough inside the container extends the entire length of one wall and consists of a frame supported on three supports, the middle plate-type one of which forms two vertical, right-angled, lip-type flanges which extend from the feed-trough in the direction of the opposite wall. A drinking bowl is fixed over the centre-support one the feed-trough frame. The centre support has a slit for the outlet hole of the drinking-bowl. A hook is pivot-mounted on the drinking-bowl. A hook on the feed-trough grips over the bent-over edge of one wall on the front of the container. A removable vertical partition wall in the container extends from the feed-trough to the opposite wall, to house two animals.
