Abstract

Compsns. for cleansing and protecting facial skin contain extracts of rosemary (rosmarinus officnalis) and oil of geranium together with glycosterols and glycerine. The glycosterol and glycerin act synergistically towards the two other ingredients in improving the pentration and transport of these ingredients across the skin. The extract of rosemary has a beneficial restorative and antiseptic action on the skin. The prods. are cheap to produce.
