Abstract

Glazing panel, comprising two glass panes kept parallel by edge space which also ensure that the enclosed space is airtight, also comprises a cartridge forming product which is filled with a powdered desiccant, e.g. a molecular sieve, the cartridge being made of a cloth of non woven fibres. The use of powdered desiccant rather than granular material gives a higher adsorptive surface and avoids the need for manual dexterity in introducing the granules one by one. The glazing unit remains free of moisture for the full ten years of the guarantee while the powder is contained and cannot migrate over the glass surface.
