Abstract

Mower skid for harvesters has a carrying shank attached to the mower unit and extending forward, with an elongate slide rail attached to it, as in 2241699. the carrying shank is rigidly attached at the forward third of the slide rail. Preferably the shank is of a spring-hard, flat material, and is fixed with one end with the mower finger fastening screw and is suspended with a yoke attached to it and embracing the mower finger gip, with prestress on the mower finger. The shank has bend(s) between the ends fastened to the mower and to the slide rail. The mower operates successfully even on greatly uneven ground.
