Abstract

The mechanism opens the trap-door (3), swings the support (14) and steps downwards; disengages the steps from the support and slides the two sections down together; unlocks the bottom (1) from the top section (2) and slides the bottom section to the ground and locks the bottom section (1) with the top section (2). The mechanism has a contactor comprising two control buttons, for raising and lowering. An electric or other power source (12) has a transmission system consisting of two couplings. One coupling (Eb) has a pinion placed on the axle (C) controlling the swing movement; and the other coupling (Ed) has a pinion also placed on axle (C) which controls the unfolding and folding-up of the steps, by means of a pinion (21) connected to a roller with axle (B).
