Abstract

The process is intended for packing of motor vehicle windscreen wiper blades between a relatively stiff support and a plastics film. First one or more stops are secured in position, protruding from the support for a height equal to or greater than the thickness of wiper blade, at points near where the wiper blade is to be accommodated on the support. The wiper blade is then placed in position, and support and stops are covered with the plastics film. A sufficient vacuum is generated in the space between the support and film, and finally the stops are removed in such a manner as to avoid the sensitive portion of the wiper blade being affected by the film. The stop can be used near the sensitive portion.
