Abstract

The radiator (1) between floor (3) and ceiling (2) has flow and return connections (4, 5). To each of these is attached a short length of open eneded tubing (6, 7). One of these pieces (6) is parallel to the longer side of the radiator and the other piece (7) is at right angles to the first piece. The outside diameter of these tubes is less than the inside diameter of the flow and return heating pipes (11, 12). The radiator is placed in position and the tube parallel to its length is pushed up the flow pipe until the other tube lines up with the return pipe and can be pushed into it. The radiator connection tubes (6, 7) are then joined to the flow and return pipes (11, 12) by suitable O ring assemblies.
