Abstract

A bin has a displaceable cover plate mounted above which rests on a yoke bracket by means of which it is guided in the cupboard, the bracket being fastened to a side wall of the cupboard. As the drawer is pulled out the bin is also drawn out beneath the cover plate wherein the open ends of the bracket rest on tansverse webs which are mounted in the cavity between the downwardly flanged edges of the longitudinal sides of the bin and the inner wall of same. The indentation at the end of the cover plate facing the rear wall of the cupboard is thereby locked at the transverse web of the bracket and if the cover plate is required as a work top it can be drawn by hand over the bin.
