Abstract

Identification is effected by varying the light intensity or colour of the curves and at the same time retaining the quality of reproduction. The width of the identification may be chosen within relatively wide limits. A screen on which a number of curves are displayed has identification numbers (1 to n) placed along the upper side. Electronic circuits increase the intensity of the curve at the instant of time corresponding to the position of the trace number at the top of the screen. Identification is effected by aligning the trace number, by eye, with the identification mark.
