Abstract

Oily, emulsifying, fungicidal compsns. comprises as active component thiram, and a specific petroleum carrier. Pref. compsn. contains 20-40% of thiram, 15-50% of a petroleum fraction having a density of 0.84 to 0.88, a clearing-point of at least 180 degrees C and a viscosity at 50 degrees C of 10-40 cantistokes, 2-25% of emulsifiers, 10-40% of water and 0.1 to 50% of adhesives. Compsn. is used for treatment of excoriosis of vines, it is more effective than the wettable powder of the parent patent FR 1544172. Optional additives include water, emulsifying agents and adhesives to promote adhesion to foliage.
