Abstract

The device for visualising an electrical signal comprises a cathode ray tube (CRT), a means of unwinding in a given direction a recording support (2) with a developable surface sensitive to this CRT, means of causing the recording support (2) to be scanned by the CRT perpendicular to this given direction, and a means of CRT control dependant on the amplitude of the electrical signal to be visualised. A differentiator may be used to vary the writing time according to the period of variation of the electrical signal to be visualised. An optical system may be used to project the image of the spot on the CRT onto a photographic film, scanning being achieved by CRT beam deflectors and brightness control being used to control the writing.
