Abstract

Two cylindrical inertia weights are clamped radially opposite one another into a circular groove on an offset of the shaft which extends outwards radially. After the imbalance has been located, the weights are displaced in the groove in a peripheral direction in such a way that the force resulting from the position and size of the two weights corresponds to the amount of imbalance and is located opposite it. The weights are then caulked in the groove. The weights used have an elongated cylindrical shape with a diameter corresponding to the width of the groove and have a curvature differing insignificantly from that of the groove.
