Abstract

A carrier bar for a suspension filing system includes a plastics moulding, T-shaped in cross section. The cross piece of the T carries slots (4c) along it, and a suspension hook (5) at each end. In the centre of the cross piece is a slot (4d) into which is snap fitted a circular reinforcing rod (2). A C-section transparent curved cover (3) snaps into the slots (4c) along the edges of the cross piece of the T, and encloses a coloured marker strip (6). This curved cover also slopes from end to end, i.e. the ends are thicker than the middle.
