Abstract

Electric conductor cable ferrule (1), is suitable for sliding over the cable and has a curved partition in the interior for gripping the cable. The partition used for gripping the cable curves towards the cable and it subdivides the fenule (1) into a space (4) reserved for the passage of the conductor and a second smaller space (5) forming a springy retaining cushion. The partition may be of a simple convex form or it may be ridged to provide extra flexibility and the ridges give a firm grip on the cable. There may be three small partitions enclosing three very small cushioning areas, so as to grip the cable on three sides.
