Abstract

A rotating spray head for spraying and flushing the insides of tanks and containers is supported on a ball bearing. The head consists of an upper triangular plate and a lower triangular plate. The two plates are offset relative to each other so that the three side wall plates joining them, which are fitted with apertures at the end furthest away from the exis, are parallel to the axis, inclined upwards and inclined downwards respectively. Other nozzles are added in the top plate and bottom plate. This ensures a coverage of the while inside surface of a tank. A gap around the ball bearings ensures a self-cleaning action of the outside of the head It requires no power as it uses the fluid reaction as the motive power.
